An electronic queue will be introduced at border checkpoints in the Lviv region
The first such facility in the region should be the "Krakivets-Korchova" checkpoint.
At the checkpoints across the state border in the Lviv region, they plan to introduce an electronic queue and equip temporary parking lots for trucks.
This was reported by the deputy head of the regional military administration, Yurii Buchko, informs TTS with reference to Interfax-Ukraine.
"Now, the only pilot project launched in Ukraine is in Zakarpattia Oblast. There it (e-queue - Ed.) works in test mode. The next object will probably be Krakivets," he said at a briefing in the media center "Ukraine".
According to Buchka, parking lots for cargo vehicles are being built at each checkpoint in the region, which is the first step for an electronic queue.
"The car pulls in, receives a ticket, it already has its number, the scoreboard at the exit will show when to leave. But these are only plans for now. We are currently making parking spaces that will serve as platforms for the electronic queue in the future," he clarified. he.
As the deputy chairman of OVA noted, the e-queue will be paid. At the same time, he suggested that it will start working at the Krakivets checkpoint in the fall of this year. Earlier, MIU reported that the renovation of the Krakivec-Korchova checkpoint allowed for a 50% increase in the passage of trucks to Poland.
