9 vessels of the Russian Federation worth more than UAH 532 million were transferred to the Ukrainian enterprise,
Prosecutors of the Prosecutor General's Office secured the transfer from the National Agency of Ukraine for Identification, Search and Management of Assets Obtained from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) to the management of a Ukrainian enterprise of nine vessels that belonged to enterprises of the Russian Federation.
"This will ensure the receipt of income from their management to the state budget of Ukraine," the message says.
The total value of the ships is over UAH 532 million.
They arrived in Ukraine at the end of 2021 - at the beginning of 2022.
"Carrying out the economic activity of cargo transportation, Russian ship-owning companies paid taxes and filled the budget of the Russian Federation, which actually provided financial assistance to the armed forces of the aggressor country," added the Prosecutor General's Office.
The vessels were arrested as part of the investigation of criminal proceedings on the facts of financing actions committed with the aim of violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power, change of the borders of the territory or the state border of Ukraine (Part 2 of Article 110-2, Part 4 of Article 110-2, Part 4 of Article 111-1, Part 5 of Article 191, Part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
