Since the beginning of the marketing year, grain exports have exceeded 11.5 million tons
Grain exports since the beginning of the 2022-2023 marketing year (July 2022 - June 2023) as of October 21 amounted to 11.526 million tons compared to 17.466 million tons on the corresponding date of the previous fiscal year, according to data from the State Customs Service.
Corn became the only grain crop that showed an increase in exports in the current season - 3.5 times, up to 6.17 million tons.
The export of other main cereals decreased, in particular: wheat - by 2.6 times, to 4,363 tons; barley - 4.4 times, up to 950 thousand tons.
In addition, 32.1 thousand tons of flour were exported against 40.2 thousand tons a year earlier, in particular wheat - 29.5 thousand tons against 39.8 thousand tons.
The export of grain since the beginning of October is 2.834 million tons compared to 3.102 million tons of the previous MR.
Including the export of corn increased 4 times - up to 1.3 million tons.
The export of other main cereals decreased, in particular: wheat - by 44.5%, to 1.322 million tons; barley - twice as much, up to 176,000 tons.
In addition, 7.5 thousand tons of flour were exported since the beginning of October against 3.6 thousand tons a year earlier, in particular wheat - 7.4 thousand tons against 3.5 thousand tons.
