Port Izmail demonstrates positive dynamics regarding the unloading of wagons with agricultural products. Thus, the average daily unloading for July increased to 135 wagons, said Valery Tkachev, deputy director of the commercial work department of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia".
As of July 3, 1,955 wagons with grain are moving towards the port. During the period from June 26 to July 2, the queue decreased by 268 cars. The main reason is the improvement of unloading indicators.
In addition, 164 wagons with grain were unloaded at the port over the past day. The average daily indicator in July is 135 wagons with grain (+60 wagons/day compared to last week's indicator).
"The situation in the port of Izmail remains difficult due to a significant accumulation of wagons. The loading towards the port is planned taking into account the processing capacity of the receivers/operators, but due to weather conditions, the operators unload significantly less than the planned volume. In general, more than 6.7 thousand wagons move towards the port of Izmail with cargo of various nomenclature," Tkachev remarked.
Queues in the direction of sea ports have also shortened. In particular, as of July 3, 793 wagons with grain cargoes were moving to the ports of Great Odesa. Average daily unloading for July - 304 wagons with grain.
The rate of daily unloading of wagons with grain in the ports of Greater Odessa fluctuates in the range of 290-305 wagons/day and has significantly decreased due to the lack of volumes. In the period from June 26 to July 2, the number of wagons heading to the ports decreased by 433 wagons, or 35%.
Over the past week, only four vessels passed the inspection within the grain corridor (three - to the port of Odesa, and one - to the port of Chornomorsk).
