As the director of the company's commercial work department, Gennadiy Maidanyk, noted, the recently presented hopper wagons for transportation on tracks of 1520 and 1435 mm are currently being tested.
By the end of the year, the fleet of the "Transport Logistics Center" branch of the company is planned to be replenished with 120 such grain trucks. The main advantage of wagons is that they can go through the territory of Ukraine and beyond without overloading.
Last year, JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" offered the market a new service - "Intermodal train". 205 trains have already been dispatched within its borders.
So far, 50 trains have been organized to Polish and Romanian ports, another 155 were headed to Ukrainian ports.
