10-11 March 2025 in Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan, hosted the 18th UNECE International Seminar on Capacity Building in Trade and Transport Facilitation along the Trans-Caspian Corridor in a hybrid format and online with the participation of the TRACECA IPC PS.
The seminar was organized within the framework of the Work Plan of the SPECU Initiative and the “Roadmap for Digitalization” in cooperation between the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the Government of Turkmenistan and other partners.
A representative of the TRACECA IPC PS presented the key elements of the CIM/SMGS electronic consignment note pilot project, such as the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the railways of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Ukraine in 2023, leadership from railway organizations, and coordination of testing.
