The declaration for the import of humanitarian aid can also be submitted electronically

When importing humanitarian aid into Ukraine, it is now possible to submit a customs declaration in electronic form. Corresponding changes were made by resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the State Customs Service of Ukraine reports in Telegram.

The agency reports that persons importing humanitarian aid into Ukraine now have the opportunity to create an electronic declaration in the Personal Account on the Single State Information Web Portal “Single Window for International Trade”.

To do this, it is necessary to identify yourself using a qualified electronic signature of a person or any of the means of the Integrated Electronic Identification System id.gov.ua, for example, using BankID.

Entering the Personal Account in this way, the declarant uses the link “Declaration for humanitarian aid” in the section “For citizens”. In the form that opens, it is possible to create a new declaration (the "Add" button), as well as search among previously submitted declarations.

After filling out the declaration (created from a blank sheet or by copying the previously submitted one), you must click the "Submit declaration" button at the bottom of the form. If there are errors in filling out the declaration, their list will be visualized, and the submission of the declaration will not be possible until they are corrected.

If there are no errors, the declaration will be accepted into the information system of the State Customs Service with the assignment of a unique electronic identifier (UEI) of the declaration, which is a small integer starting with 00, for example 00555.

It is this identifier that will need to be reported to customs. In addition, the declarant has the opportunity to print the submitted declaration, but this is not necessary - if the carrier does not have a printout, it will be printed by the customs officer.

Completion of customs clearance is certified by the customs officer by affixing a personal numbered seal on the printout of the electronic declaration (in the same way as in the case of a paper declaration).

The possibility of submitting declarations in electronic form will simplify and speed up the processing of humanitarian aid through integration with the customs information system.
