During the war, the UZ allowed 30 private companies to develop border transshipment complexes

The main problem with railway export of agricultural products is insufficient capacity on the other side of the border, while JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" during the war provided the necessary access for private business to the development of transshipment from the Ukrainian side, said the ex-head of UZ Oleksandr Kamyshin, who was appointed by the parliament as the head of the Ministry of Strategy and Industry.

"During the war, we allowed more than 30 private companies to develop border transshipment complexes, mobile and stationary. Currently, there are no problems with the transshipment of agricultural products on the Ukrainian side," Kamyshin stated, speaking in the Verkhovna Rada as a candidate for the position of minister and "head of the railway for today ".

According to him, there is a problem with the readiness of the EU to accept Ukrainian volumes of agricultural products.

"The whole of Poland exported 8.3 million tons of grain per year through its ports. And we, as Ukraine, must export 50 plus million tons of grain per year. Therefore, unfortunately, our grain in this volume does not pass through the European side," he explained. Kamishin
