On November 28-29, the 31st All-Ukrainian Logist Day 2024 exhibition-conference was held in Kyiv. These two days turned out to be full of communication with the participants of the conference and exhibition, as well as meeting with friends and partners. The event was attended by representatives of the business community, specialists in logistics, forwarding, transporters, - in total, about 1,500 participants.
Main conclusions, achievements and forecasts for 2025:
• The future of logistics business is inextricably linked to automation in logistics, implementing innovative systems is as important as updating transport.
• Even before the opening of the grain corridor and the ports of Great Odesa, the situation was stabilized due to shipments via the Danube and overland crossings to Western Europe, which is a great achievement in wartime conditions.
• There are no good reasons to increase the volumes of container cargo flow, it remains at the level of 400 thousand TEU per year.
• Freight forwarders increasingly shift responsibility for cargo damage to contractors.
• Methods that ensure the accuracy and speed of cargo delivery are the use of a modern GPS monitoring system, electronic document management, software for route optimization.
• The Trans-Caspian route will continue to develop.
• Simplifications for AEO really work, their practical application has positive dynamics
• One of the key European practices is integrated into the Ukrainian customs legislation - authorization for the conduct of customs brokerage activities. The permit to carry out customs brokerage activity is replaced by an authorization that can be obtained by the enterprise provided that it meets clearly defined criteria. The authorization will replace the current permit for conducting customs brokerage activities until April 19, 2026.
• Warehouse logistics is increasingly automated.
• Training of drivers and installation of the DSM - ADAS - BSD system (intelligent system for controlling the operation of transport in three main directions: according to road conditions, according to the behavior of pedestrians and according to the behavior of the driver himself) reduces the possibility of road accidents by 40%.
