FIATA has launched its 2025 Market Report, which provides a comprehensive analysis of global logistics trends with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific region. The launch coincides with the 4th ITF High-Level Regional Dialogue for Asia, being held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, under the auspices of the International Transport Forum (ITF).
The 2025 report examines the evolving logistics landscape across air, sea, rail and road transport in the Asia-Pacific region, highlighting the growth, digitalisation and sustainability initiatives shaping regional supply chains. It includes the results of the FIATA Asia Pacific Industry Perception Survey 2025, which provides direct insights from industry stakeholders on new opportunities, challenges and innovations driving the sector forward.
FIATA Director General Dr. Stefan Graber commented:
“Digital transformation, sustainability and collaboration are transforming logistics. Freight forwarders are not just adapting – they are driving innovation and resilience across supply chains. The 4th ITF High Level Dialogue for Asia demonstrated that success depends on collaboration and joint action. This new Asia Pacific Market Report provides a solid foundation for understanding current realities and emerging trends, enabling us to build a logistics ecosystem that is agile, transparent and connected.”
The launch builds on FIATA’s enhanced engagement in Asia throughout 2025 following the FIATA World Congress 2025 in Hanoi, Vietnam, on the theme of “Green and Sustainable Logistics”, as well as the Federation’s active participation in the ITF Tashkent Dialogue. Together, these milestones underline FIATA’s commitment to fostering regional cooperation and strengthening global connectivity.
Unlike FIATA’s policy-oriented publications, the 2025 Market Report provides data on current market dynamics, encouraging further exchange and reflection between the industry and policymakers. It provides recommendations on aligning policies and investments to support sustainable and green infrastructure, while empowering freight forwarders through innovation and collaboration.
The report highlights the importance of coordinated multimodal strategies, driven by technology and analytics, to improve logistics efficiency and shape the future of trade. With the release at the ITF Regional Dialogue, FIATA reaffirms its commitment to supporting governments, industry and stakeholders with analytical data that informs policy, strengthens advocacy and promotes sustainable growth in all regions.
