Truck drivers were forced to wait for hours on the motorway before crossing the border to Kiefersfelden/Kufstein due to a traffic jam in Tyrol, Lardi.
On December 9, a traffic jam on the Austrian Inntal motorway in Bavaria caused a 46-kilometer-long traffic jam. According to police, trucks were stuck in the stretch from the border crossing at Kiefersfelden via the Inntal and Irschenberg junctions to the Weyarn exit. The traffic jam cleared around noon after more than eight hours.
The next traffic jam is scheduled for January 7, 2026.
