In February 2021, logistics companies GOL and Maersk Line opened a new railway route from the Polish port of Gdansk to six cities in Ukraine. The new route became part of the transport corridor between the Baltic and Black seas, connecting Turkey, the Ukrainian port of Chornomorsk and Poland.
"Global Ocean Link" LLC (Odesa) is an operator of the freight transportation and logistics services market. Provides sea freight, road, rail and air transportation services, forwarding, warehousing and terminal processing, cargo customs clearance, insurance and surveying services.
Before the Great War, GOL was the leader of the container logistics market in Ukraine. For many years in a row, it was recognized as the winner among freight forwarders handling the largest number of containers in Ukrainian seaports, as part of the National Maritime Rating, conducted by the "Ports of Ukraine" publishing house. Immediately after the full-scale invasion, the company relocated personnel within its Ukrainian and foreign branches in order to create safe living and working conditions for employees. At the same time, the restructuring of the service line began in accordance with the new needs of customers and wartime conditions. Among the new services recently launched by the company on the market is the transportation of bulk and general cargo by river and sea vessels.
