The first key point is "Army above all". It is about providing the defense forces with everything they need. Cash payments, weapons, equipment, food, fuel, development of the military-industrial complex. First of all, we direct all resources to the defense forces, "the Prime Minister said.

 

The second direction, he said, is food security. Strategic food stocks have been formed for several years, assistance is being provided to farmers, and a program of free distribution of key social products in frontline cities has been launched.

 

The third point is the New Economic Policy. According to the Prime Minister, such measures as tax cuts, complete deregulation of business, abolition of import VAT and import duties will have a powerful effect and restart the economy.

 

"The fourth area is support and social assistance programs. Pensions were indexed in March. In April, pensions are paid in advance in the regions where hostilities are taking place. We pay all social payments. Under the program eSupport paid 6.5 thousand UAH to those who lost their jobs. 3.5 million people have already received such payments, "said Denis Shmygal.

 

In addition, the government has launched a "Home Aid" program to help IDPs. People will receive 450 hryvnias in compensation for utilities for each displaced person.

 

"Separately, the state will pay monthly IDPs 2,000 hryvnias for adults and 3,000 hryvnias for children or people with disabilities. We will pay UAH 6,500 to a business hiring a resettler as partial compensation for this person's salary, ”the Prime Minister said.

 

The sixth point is the Energy Front. Denis Shmygal stressed that Ukraine has forever disconnected from the energy networks of Russia and Belarus and joined the European energy system ENTSO-E. Also, according to him, all types of generation are working, coal is in warehouses, gas - 9 billion cubic meters in storage. In addition, Ukraine has formed agreements with European refineries to provide the country with fuel.

 

The seventh point is "Wartime Logistics". Ukrzaliznytsia has become one of the main companies for the state. Thousands of tons of cargo and hundreds of thousands of people are transported every day. Separate logistics routes have been opened for motor transport. We are building new warehouses on the western border, and we also plan to open new checkpoints there in the near future, "the Head of Government said.

 

The Prime Minister also named other areas: "Peace with Ukraine" and "Reconstruction of Ukraine". He expressed hope that the support of the partners will not remain only in words, and we will see what the world united around Ukraine is like.
