The partnership of container carriers within the framework of the Ocean Alliance has been extended until 2032

The Ocean Alliance shipping consortium, which includes the world's largest shipping lines CMA CGM, COSCO Shipping Lines, Evergreen Marine Corporation and OOCL, continues to operate until 2032.

On February 27, 2024, the leaders of the alliance signed a memorandum of understanding for the continuation of operational cooperation in Shanghai.

"Within Ocean Alliance, the partners will continue to ensure supply chain stability by offering best-in-class marine transportation solutions through a network of serviced ports with direct calls and optimal transit times," the participants said in a statement.

Ocean Alliance, established in spring 2017, is the world's largest operating shipping network and the backbone of international trade routes.

Ocean Alliance has a fleet of 303 container ships with a capacity of 4.3 million TEU. The share of Ocean Alliance on European-Asian services is 34%, on lines from Asia to North America - 35%.
