Ports of all EU countries have been closed to Russian ships
An EU directive banning Russians has come into force. It applies to all courts registered under the Russian flag, as well as those that changed the registration of the Russian Federation after February 24, "Yermak said.
At the same time, he added that there are some exceptions - the restriction will not apply to those ships that gave the SOS signal (Mayday). Decisions on them will be made individually.
"We will monitor exactly how such exceptions are applied and do not use them in Russia for circumvention maneuvers against restrictions," Yermak said.
Earlier, Russian courts were banned from entering the ports of Bulgaria, Romania and Italy. Subsequently, Estonia joined the naval blockade of Russia.
