The procedure for the passage of Ukrainian agricultural products across the border with Poland has been simplified

Ukraine and Poland have agreed on the abolition of veterinary control for Ukrainian agricultural products that go to Polish ports or pass through the country in transit. These changes, accepted by the Polish side, come into effect from today, March 9.

  The presence of such control led to the formation of long queues at the border with Poland, in particular, drivers had to wait more than 10 days to pass the control. Canceling the control will allow you to speed up the waiting time by 3-4 times.

  The list of goods (codes) for which such control has been canceled can be viewed at the following link: http://surl.li/fienv.

  How will it work?

  For motor carriers, the simplified procedure will apply at all Ukrainian-Polish checkpointsborders, which work for the passage of freight transport.

At the checkpoint on the Ukrainian side, all carriers transporting agricultural products must present CMR (transport document of international standard) to customs inspectors.

  A representative of the State Customs Service of Ukraine will affix a stamp to the CMR, without which the Polish customs will turn the cars around and send them back to Ukraine.

  On the Polish side, trucks with transit goods will be sealed after border and customs control.

  The seals will be removed at authorized storage points located in the countries to which Ukrainian agricultural products were destined. A record of the cargo's arrival at the declared location for unsealing will be available through the NCTS system.

  What should those who have registered for control in eCherza do?

  Carriers who signed up in the electronic queue for veterinary control at the checkpoint "Yagodin - Dorogusk" need:

    check whether your cargo is subject to the simplified procedure — whether it is in the list of goods (codes) for which such control has been canceled, and whether it is going through Poland in transit or to a Polish port;

   cancel the entry in the queue for veterinary control, if the product is on the list;

   on the website echerha.gov.ua to join the general "Yagodin-Dorogusk" queue.

  Users are Queues "Yagodin - Dorogusk. Veterinary control", whose goods did not fall under the simplified procedure, and in the future should expect to cross the border in the queue for veterinary control.
