The State Customs Service held an explanatory seminar for businesses on the application of transit simplifications "status of authorized TIR consignor" and "status of authorized TIR consignee"

 

The event was attended by representatives of the business community, specialists of the Association of International Automobile Carriers of Ukraine and customs authorities of Ukraine - a total of about 300 participants.

The Deputy Head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine, Vladyslav Suvorov, during his welcoming speech, noted that the seminar is a continuation of the dialogue with business introduced by the State Customs Service regarding changes in legislation on customs matters and will contribute to the further effective application of new customs simplifications.

Specialists of the State Customs Service presented legislative innovations regarding the obtaining by enterprises of authorizations for the use of transit simplifications "status of authorized consignor of TIR" or "status of authorized consignee of TIR" and the fulfillment of customs formalities, including with the TIR carnet, during the departure and arrival of goods from/to authorized areas objects

During the live discussion, the representatives of the State Customs Service provided professional answers to the questions of the participants of the event.
