The Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure reported that truck drivers crossing the Yagodin-Dorogusk international checkpoint on the border of Ukraine and Poland will now be able to use the eCherga application on their phones, writes TTS.
Previously, it was possible to sign up for an electronic queue only on the website.
"Thousands of truck drivers have already appreciated the convenience of eQueue. The project officially started in December of last year. During this time, almost 55,000 trucks signed up for the electronic queue and passed through the checkpoint," said Deputy Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure Anatoly Komirny.
In the application, the driver quickly receives push notifications about his status in the queue, the progress of the queue and the time of arrival at the checkpoint.
To enter the program, drivers must use the same password and login used for authorization. Users also have the option to continue or cancel their recording.
The application will also be convenient for Polish drivers crossing the Ukrainian checkpoint in an electronic queue. For their comfort, the Polish language has been added.
Currently, international cargo carriers crossing the border through the Yagodin-Dorogusk checkpoint can use eCheruga. There is no need to queue for users of service zones, the driver chooses where and how to wait for the border crossing.
