On the night of September 13, as a result of an attack by Russian UAVs, oil storage tanks and grain warehouses were damaged.
Since July 18, when Russia began conducting intensive and regular airstrikes on the ports of Ukraine, 105 port infrastructure facilities were damaged and partially destroyed as a result of such attacks.
As TTS writes, this was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov.
"As a result of the attacks on the ports of the Danube cluster and the blockade of sea ports, the export of grain cargoes to the countries of Asia, Africa and Europe was reduced by almost 3 million tons per month," the official said.
He informed that as a result of the Russian attack on the night of September 13, administrative buildings, warehouses for grain cargoes, oil storage tanks and motor vehicles were damaged in Reni and Izmail. Seven drivers were taken to hospital in serious condition.
"The ports of the Danube cluster are currently the only waterway for Ukrainian agricultural exports. If it is not protected by powerful air defense systems, the consequences will be greater. First of all, for those countries that depend on Ukrainian agricultural products," the minister summarized.
