In Ukraine, they plan to launch digitalization at customs

Digitization is implemented in Ukraine in various spheres, which creates conditions for making corruption impossible. In particular, it is planned to launch digitalization at customs

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this while answering journalists' questions during a conference on the restoration of Ukraine in Lugano, Switzerland, Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"First of all, we must create conditions in our country where it will be impossible to have corruption, and then there will be no need to fight corruption... First of all, it is digitalization, we have already digitalized many areas - investments, construction, architecture, it's all transferred to an electronic framework, and then corruption is impossible," Shmyhal noted.

He added that before the start of the war, Ukraine made a lot of efforts to develop anti-corruption infrastructure, and will continue working in this direction with international partners.

Shmyhal noted that digitalization of customs is planned in Ukraine. According to him, this, in particular, will make corruption impossible, because people will not be in contact with customs officials.

In addition, he reminded that the digitalization of administrative services is already being implemented in Ukraine.

As reported, the international conference on the restoration of Ukraine was held in Switzerland on July 4-5. Representatives of more than 40 countries of the world and about 20 international organizations in the final declaration promised to support Ukraine on the path of recovery after the military aggression of the Russian Federation.
