The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2023 in the first reading.

On October 7, the parliament completed the process of considering the draft State Budget-2023 in the first reading: the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Resolution on conclusions and proposals for the draft law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2023.

Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhii Marchenko, during his speech in the parliament, thanked the People's Deputies of Ukraine for the productive discussion and understanding of the importance of approving the budget in a short period of time, as well as the priorities of the country's budget in the conditions of martial law.

"The government has already started a dialogue with international partners - the USA, the EU, the International Monetary Fund regarding the search for sources of covering the budget deficit.

International partners are ready to support Ukraine in the pursuit of our victory over the aggressor as soon as possible and to provide funds for the reconstruction of the state," said Serhiy Marchenko.
