SUPPORTING UKRAINIAN BUSINESS AND ASSOCIATION PARTICIPANTS IS EVEN MORE EFFECTIVE!

Now, from the UKRZOVNISHTRANS Association, I am participating in the training program “Access to Financial Resources for MSMEs: From a Business Idea to Successful Funding”, which is currently taking place in sunny Odessa.
This intensive is organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP in Ukraine) within the framework of the “Sustainable Business Platform. Academy” initiative with the financial support of the Japanese government.
Why is this important right now? Access to financing (grants, loans and investments) remains one of the greatest needs for micro, small and medium-sized businesses. It is not enough to simply find a grant - entrepreneurs need professional support: from risk analysis to competent reporting.
What is already behind us and what we are doing now:
• The first module in Odessa was completed in one go! Together with leading experts in fundraising and financial management, we analyzed international and state programs to support MSMEs.
• We learned to look at projects through the eyes of donors, investors, and banks to minimize the risks of rejection.
• Participants went to do their homework on drawing up grant applications and business plans.
What's next? There's still a second training module ahead in July, but we're already ready to put the tools we've learned into practice! Following the program, we plan to launch an updated consulting service for participating entrepreneurs in our organization to help local businesses attract resources for recovery and scaling.
There's a lot of work ahead, so stay tuned! More to come...
