TRUCKS WILL BE ABLE TO OVERTAKE AT NIGHT

 

After two years of extremely restrictive rules that prohibited trucks from overtaking regardless of current and local traffic jams, the Polish government has finally announced a slight relaxation of the law. The mandatory overtaking ban will be lifted at night, when traffic jams are at their lightest.

NEW STANDARD FOR REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF FREIGHT WAGONS.

 

From August 2025, Ukrzaliznytsia is switching to a new standard for repair and maintenance of freight wagons. This is another step towards integration with the European railway system.

The Ministry of Development held a founding meeting with the European Investment Bank (EIB) team on the development and restoration of port infrastructure.

The parties discussed the current state of port infrastructure, priorities for its restoration, financing needs, medium-term planning and projects that will be submitted to the Single Portfolio of Projects (SPP2026).

For the shipping and logistics industry worldwide, sanctions create burdensome overhead costs for doing business.
